Nykomb Synergetics focuses on renewable energy and energy efficiency. With more than 20 years of experience in renewable energy and a track record in investing in clean energy companies, we understand the potential and challenges of the industry.

Our mission is to contribute to a more sustainable energy society by supporting our customers in achieving profitable projects and by initiating and taking active ownership in development projects and start-up companies.

Previous projects range from efficiency improvements with novel technologies to integration of commercialy proven techniques to the transformation of complete energy processes.

• With extensive knowledge of gasification and other biofuel and fossile fuel conversion techniques and processes, Nykomb Consulting offers a wide range of technical and development services in the petroleum, energy, pulp & paper and chemical industry.



• As an early stage venture capital firm, we finance and develop renewable energy and energy efficiency technology, projects and companies. With our broad entrepreneurial expertise and network we actively support our portfolio companies with technical, strategic and financial knowledge. • Nykomb Project Development takes on the tasks of concept and feasibility studies, development, engineering as well as financial, commercial, legal and environmental structuring. Generally we make equity investments in our projects and are involved in the complete Build Own Operate process.

Nykomb Synergetics develop novel ways of converting raw fuels into high-value products, like power & heat and chemicals & fuels, in an environmentally friendly way.

By integrating gasification technology with other processes in energy efficient way, production costs can be lower than conventional technology while drastically reduce all emissions. 

Business and technology development are inherent activities within the company, where we engage in projects with equity rights in such developments.

As an independent contractor, Nykomb Synergetics also offers services in process and power systems engineering and project development.
